Late yesterday, the NFL handed down a series of punishments to Tom Brady and the Patriots for their alleged roles in the #DeflateGate scandal. They gave Brady a four-game suspension, stripped the Pats of two future draft picks, and fined the team $1 million. And now, one Patriots fan is trying to help the team pay off its fine without having to dig into owner Robert Kraft's pockets.

Some guy named Michael J. Whitman just started a GoFundMe campaign in an effort to raise $1 million to pay off the fine. He's well aware of the fact that he probably "won't reach One Million Dollars." However, he believes "the fine is bulls**t" and wants to help out. So he's promising to hand-deliver a check to Kraft if he's able to raise enough money.

As of right now, he isn't anywhere close to raising $1 million. In fact, he isn't even close to raising $300. But his GoFundMe campaign is still worth checking out, because it features a ton of anti-Patriots fans leaving messages about how people shouldn't donate a single dime. Scroll down to see a few of them. Something tells us there's no way this thing is going to raise a mill.
