NFL PATs Will Now Be (Slightly) Less Boring

The NFL has agreed to move back extra points from a 20-yard kick to a 32-yard kick.

When it comes to incredibly dull shit in sports, it's hard to top the extra point. It has nearly a 100 percent conversion rate, and it's guaranteed to usher in a commercial immediately afterward. For now ever the commercial part is still going to happen, but at least for the 2015 season extra points will be at a longer (though still highly makeable) 32 yards instead of 20. That's because the NFL has agreed to bump back XP's with the snap taking place on the 15-yard line instead of the two:
