Klay Thompson's Dad Just Started a Kevin Durant-to-the-Warriors Rumor

Kevin Durant to the Warriors?

The Warriors are already great. But can you imagine how much greater they would be if they had Kevin Durant on their team? CAN YOU?

KD still has a year left on his current contract. And he's going to have almost every single team in the NBA lined up to offer him a deal in the summer of 2016. But according to Klay Thompson's dad Mychal Thompson, who made a radio appearance on ESPN LA 710 yesterday, that's not going to stop the Warriors from making a run at him.

"I also heard it on good authority from a team that plays in the Bay Area that they're going to go hard after Kevin Durant," he said.

The mere idea of KD playing alongside Steph Curry and Thompson doesn't seem fair. So we wouldn't really put too much stock into what Thompson's dad said. There are also the salary cap issues that would obviously come into play and, well, yeah. KD's probably not going to end up on Golden State. But if you're a Warriors fan, it's fun to imagine it, right?
