If you asked a bunch of people to use one word to describe the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight that took place last Saturday night, most of them would probably say, "Boring." In fact, most people have called it "boring" in the days after the fight.

1.

No one is allowed to say how great boxing is again. That was boring and insulting. They swindled your money for that PPV #MayPac

And last night, Mayweather himself pointed out that he predicted the reaction most people would have to the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight all the way back in 2009. He posted a #TBT video on Instagram that features him speaking about the fight during a November 15, 2009 interview. Back then, he said that he was in a "no win" situation when it came to fighting Pacquiao.

"If I beat Manny Pacquiao, you know what they're gonna say? You supposed to beat him, you Floyd Mayweather, you the bigger man," he said. "And then, if I outbox him, they're gonna say it was a boring fight."

Good call, Floyd. You were 100 percent right.
