David Blatt Says Being the Cavaliers Coach Is a Lot Like Being a Fighter Pilot

What in the world was Cavaliers head coach David Blatt thinking yesterday during Game 4 of the Cleveland/Chicago playoff series? First, he tried to call a timeout towards the end of the game when the Cavs didn't have any left (fortunately, none of the game's referees saw him and the game continued). And then, with less than two seconds left on the clock, Blatt tried to draw up a play that included LeBron James—THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER ON THE PLANET!—throwing the ball in (thankfully, LeBron nixed the play and drew up a better one). Because, you know, why wouldn't you want one of the most clutch players in playoff history taking the final shot?

Blatt provided a very simple explanation for why he made the blunders, though. Earlier today, he explained that there are a lot of decisions to be made during an NBA game. So many that, at times, being an NBA coach can be a lot like being, well, a fighter pilot:
