Er, at least, you're going to the Super Bowl…if you believe what your new cornerback Byron Maxwell just said. He did an interview with MMQB and revealed that he has his sights set on making it back to the Super Bowl next season after going to the last two Super Bowls with the Seahawks. So according to him, the Eagles are going to make it to the NFL Playoffs and the Super Bowl next season.
"Experience," he said when he was asked what he's going to bring to the Eagles roster. "Because I've been there before. Knowing what it's like if we go that far. Because we're gonna go that far this year—meaning the playoffs and the Super Bowl. We're gonna go that far."
Later in the interview, he also dropped another bomb by going as far as to guarantee that the Eagles are going to play in Super Bowl 50.
"We will," he said. "You can take that as a guarantee. That's just me believing in my team and the product we're going to put out there on the field. I really do believe that. I have no choice but to think that way."
And how do Eagles fans feel about this guarantee?
