When DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry and the rest of the Toronto Raptors from the past two seasons are old and decrepit, living out the last of their days in a Canadian retirement home, sleep will not come easy to them. Insomnia will engulf them, for whenever they close their eyes all they will see is a smirking Paul Pierce, casually draining big shot after big shot to send them to their doom.

After tormenting the Raptors in last year's playoffs as a member of the Brooklyn Nets, Paul Pierce has returned, this time in a white, red and blue Washington Wizards uniform, to wreak havoc on that team north of the border in the NBA Playoffs. Already up 2-0 in their first round series after defeating Toronto twice on its home floor, Pierce hit two dagger 3-pointers in Game 3 in D.C. to ensure the Raps wouldn't get a lick of momentum going forward.

Up just five with two minutes left, the Raptors left Pierce wide open behind the 3-point line, a shot Pierce then casually drained. The Raptors would make another run, tying the game at 98 before going down three points with 20 seconds left. That's when Pierce, with the shot clock about to expire, hit the back breaking 3 that would put Toronto in a 3-0 hole that they won't be digging out of.

Adding insult to injury is Pierce's antics after each 3, high-fiving the crowd, mouthing things like "that's why I'm here" and "one more," which is a ridiculous thing to do in a first round series but is typical of Pierce's bravado.

So we're sorry, Toronto. But Paul Pierce just won't leave you alone.
