It's not going to be easy for the Trail Blazers to replace Wesley Matthews, who suffered a torn left Achilles during Portland's win against the Mavericks last night. But according to a Yahoo! Sports report, they tried to do it earlier today by placing a call to Ray Allen's agent. Allen literally just announced that he's not going to play during the 2014-15 NBA season, despite numerous teams being interested in signing him. But it seems Trail Blazers general manager Neil Olshey called Allen's agent Jim Tanner anyway to see if Allen would reconsider.

Allen's response? Thanks…but no thanks. Tanner reportedly told the Blazers that the sharpshooter isn't interested and that he's really not going to play this year.
