Peyton Manning has plenty of money in the bank. Every time we turn around, there's another Papa John's commercial on the TV. So earlier today, Manning reportedly made the decision to take a $4 million pay cut in order to remain with the Broncos next season.

Before you get too worked up, though, you should know that Manning is still scheduled to make $15 million next season. So it's not like he's playing for free or anything next year (sorry, Skip Bayless!). But $4 million is still $4 million, so it's a pretty hefty sacrifice on Manning's part. His pay cut will allow Denver to go out and sign some more help for their team once free agency officially begins next week.

Manning's new deal isn't finalized—he needs to pass a physical before it goes through—but you can probably expect an official announcement from the Broncos within the next day or two.
