It's hilarious when an athlete signs a lucrative deal and says in the introductory press conference that the decision had nothing to do with money. Instead, they will name the promising young talent on the roster, the great front office, blah, blah, blah. IT. WAS. ALL. ABOUT. THE. MONEY.

Earlier today, Ndamukong Suh made it official, signing with the Miami Dolphins for $114 million over six years. To give you an idea of how ridiculous this contract is, check out these two tweets:

1.

So Ndamukong Suh gets $26.5 million in Year 1 and $50 million in first 2 yrs. Fun fact: base salary goes from $985K in '15 to $23.5M in '16.

When asked about why he chose to join the Dolphins, $uh didn't talk about his excitement towards playing alongside the 24th-ranked run defense in the league. He didn't sugarcoat a damn thing.

That may not sound great, but let's be real...IT. WAS. ALL. ABOUT. THE. MONEY! And can you blame him?
