Larry Bird is a legend when it comes to talking trash. And even though he's been retired for years now, he proved that he's still got what it takes to trash-talk with the best of 'em during the unveiling of Dominique Wilkins' new statue in Atlanta earlier today.

Starting tomorrow, Wilkins' statue will be situated outside of Philips Arena. But today, it was inside of the Hawks' home stadium for a special ceremony that included the team showing a tribute video that was created for The Human Highlight Film. It featured a handful of former NBA players speaking on Wilkins' legacy, and Bird just couldn't help but take a good-natured shot at him while speaking about his statue.

"I'm pretty sure it's not made in a defensive stance," he said.

Here's a clip of the actual statue unveiling:

Bird was right. Wilkins is most definitely not in a defensive stance. Not that anyone expected him to be.
