Over the last few weeks, ESPN has run a special called Snoop and Son: A Dad's Dream about Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus. Cordell is a four-star college football recruit, so the show focused on the relationship between father and son and Cordell's pursuit of a college football career. But it also focused on the fact that Snoop is a huge USC fan who openly admitted that he wanted his son to play for the Trojans.

However, that's not going to happen. Because a short time ago, Cordell made an appearance on ESPN alongside his father and revealed that he's going to be attending UCLA, which is USC's rival, in the fall. And while Snoop probably wasn't thrilled about it deep down, he said that he's going to support his son:

Weirdly, Cordell won't be the only son of a rapper on the UCLA team, either. If you remember, Diddy's son Justin Combs is also a part of the Bruins program. So next season, Snoop Dogg's son and Diddy's son will be standing on the same sideline and playing football together.

Who would have guessed that 20 years ago?
