Charles Oakley is one of the most beloved Knicks players of all time. He spent a decade with the team and was with them during some of their biggest seasons back in the 1990s. But despite that, he doesn't have a relationship with the team right now, and he says that Knicks owner James Dolan is to blame for that.

"As hard as I played for that motherfucker, and he don't want to talk with me?" he said during an event on Wednesday night. "Everybody in New York liked me except this one guy. Why is this? Everywhere I talk to people—'Why aren't you working with the Knicks?' I said, 'I try to.' They said, 'What, is it Dolan?' I talked to maybe a million people. He's a bad guy."

Oakley also said that he's asked NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to set up a meeting with him and Dolan...to no avail.

"I asked the commissioner to set up a meeting with [Dolan], take a step forward," he said. "I want to know what I did to be hated so bad by an owner. The dad [Charles Dolan], I never heard him say nothing bad about me. I asked players I played with to go talk with [James Dolan]. He said he don't want to deal with me."

Oh, and as if all of that wasn't bad enough, Oakley also said that, if he wants to see a Knicks game today, he needs to buy a ticket on StubHub and pay his way into Madison Square Garden.

If you're surprised by any of this, you obviously don't know anything about Dolan. But really? This is another new low for him.
