Just one day after reaching a buyout agreement with the New York Knicks, Amar'e Stoudemire has found his next team. According to RealGM's Shams Charania, Stoudemire has "committed to sign" with the Dallas Mavericks. While there is some uncertainty at the moment as to how exactly Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle will utilize him, the addition of Amar'e brings the team a decent rebounding and scoring option when healthy.

STAT's presence could be a nice compliment to the second unit which already includes solid role players like Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Al-Farouq Aminu. Currently, the Mavericks find themselves in the fifth spot in the Western Conference with a 36-19 record.
