50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather aren't on the greatest of terms right now. Over the last year or two, they've thrown a series of shots at one another. So we can't say that we're entirely surprised to see 50 taking yet another jab at his former BFF.

But yesterday, Sports Illustrated writer Chris Mannix saw 50 in the SI office and decided to get his take on the potential Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. And for what it's worth, 50 doesn't think it'll ever happen because he claims Mayweather is "scared to death" of Pacquiao:

1.

Saw @50cent in the SI office. Said he still doesn't think @FloydMayweather will fight Manny Pacquiao. Said 50: "He's scared to death."

Again, 50 and Floyd are not on the same team anymore, so take this with a grain of salt. But it's worth noting that 50 probably does have some insider information when it comes to Mayweather's thoughts on Pacquiao, even though that information is super outdated at this point. So who knows? Maybe he's right here.

We'll continue patiently waiting for some kind of official word on whether or not the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight will ever happen.
