Remember a few years back when Vince Carter basically said he didn't enjoy dunking anymore? It was like hearing Michelangelo says he didn't really f**k with the Sistine Chapel ceiling. The nation went into mourning, for we thought we would never see one of the greatest dunkers of our time throw it down again.
Yet here are, almost halfway through the 2014-2015 NBA season, and Vince Carter has tasted the Fountain of Youth. First he threw down something serious over Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz, but that wasn't enough to satisfy Carter's appetite. The latest victim in the mini-renaissance of Vinsanity is Denver Nuggets forward Jusuf Nurkic, who will probably be known for the rest of his career as that dude who got dunked on by a 37 year old.
Age ain't nothing but a number.
