Back in the 1950s and 1960s when Nomellini played in the NFL, players didn't get paid as much money as they do today. So guys often worked second jobs in the offseason. Nomellini's second job just so happened to involve him wrestling professionally. And he was every bit as successful in the ring as he was on the football field.
