Klay Thompson will go to bed tonight knowing he's going to see his name mentioned in a lot more rap verses in 2015. He has to after what he did in the third quarter.
The Kings suffered the misfortune of seeing Thompson go off. In the third quarter, the gawd went 13-for-13 and nine-for-nine from being the arc not in NBA 2k15, but in a real professional basketball game to score 37 points. Here's the shot chart.
Have a 3rd quarter, Klay Thompson. Thompson scores 37 of the Warriors 41 points in the 3rd quarter. pic.twitter.com/9jzWF2gUZT

This obliterates the record for most points in one quarter originally set by George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony. Thompson would finish with 52 points total.
So on top of that all-time great performance, you have the fact that the Warriors are now 35-6. One tweet described the situation at hand the best.
