New Orleans Pelicans guard Austin Rivers has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-way deal with the Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics. As a result, Rivers and his dad Doc will become the first father-son coach-player duo in NBA history.

Doc's mission: find his son's game, which has been missing ever since James Harden put him on skates exactly one year ago today. The 2012 first-round draft pick has been dreadful for the Pels, shooting 38 percent this season while averaging just 6.8 PPG.

"Good times," said no Pelicans fan ever.
