As of Tuesday, A Gronking To Remember—the Rob Gronkowski-themed erotic novel written by Jenny Noonan—was working its way up Amazon's list of best-selling erotica. Thanks to all of the publicity that it was receiving, including this amazing Boston.com interview with Noonan, people were interested in checking out the book. But despite this, Amazon just decided to pull the book from its site.

As of right now, Amazon hasn't explained exactly why they made the decision. But the Boston Globe spoke with a source who told them that either the Patriots or the NFL may have objected to Gronkowski's image being used on the cover of the book. Specifically, it seems the Pats or the NFL may have taken issue with Noonan using a photo of Gronk that features him wearing an "MHK" patch, a patch that was worn by New England players in 2011 after the death of Myra Kraft, the wife of Pats owner Robert Kraft. Noonan is hopeful that she can fix the cover and get the book back on Amazon ASAP.

"I didn't understand at the outset that Robert Kraft wouldn't want Myra Kraft and her philanthropical works associated with this," she said in an email to the Globe. "Total newbie ignorance on my part. I believe—and hope—that's the only problem anyone has with the book since it is such obvious satire and parody."

There has been no word yet as to whether or not the book might make a return to Amazon in the future. But for now, you're out of luck if you didn't already get your hands on a copy.
