The Kentucky Wildcats are Sh**ting All Over UCLA's Entire Existence

Kentucky basketball is completely and utterly unstoppable

Kentucky basketball under John Calipari has been unfair for a while now, with the school's ability to recruit top five prospects every. single. year. essentially turning Big Blue into the New York Yankees of college hoops. And while some of Calipari's insanely talented rosters weren't able to mesh enough to have as prolific of a season as we thought they would, his 2014 squad is like the reincarnation of the Monstars.

The Wildcats have treated what they've played of the regular season like a playground so far, destroying no. 5 Kansas by 32 and no. 21 UNC by 14 on their way to an 11-0 record. But the beat down they put on UCLA in the first today in Chicago almost broke the Internet.

Kentucky went on a 24-0 run to start the game. UCLA wouldn't score its first hoop until the 12:21 mark on the first half, and shot 0-17 before Kevon Looper finally made a jumper. They would go on to shoot 3-37 for the half (!!!) and get down 41-7 by the time the first half ended. I mean. WHAT? ARE YOU GUYS WATCHING THIS?

It's not even like Kentucky is shooting the snot out of the ball. They shot 45.7 percent from the field in the first half, which is good but it's nothing to write home to your mother about. It's been their defense that's been the catalyst of the Wildcats annihilation of the Bruins, racking up five steals and eight blocks in just the first half. Yes, that does mean Kentucky had more blocks than UCLA had points. The 'Cats are also out here throwing outlet passes like Kevin Love does for LeBron James. Marcus Lee is even out here air-guitaring from pure joy.

There is nothing Kentucky doesn't have. They've got shooters. They've got big men who move like point guards. They play tenacious defense. They don't make substitutions, they just bring in five more players that could start on any team in the nation, which I believe is what Jeezy meant when he said "my rooms got rooms!" Kentucky would go on to finish off UCLA 83-44.

There's always a lot of hyperbole tossed around when it comes to Kentucky basketball, but this might legitimately be their best team of all time.
