Back in 2007, prior to the NBA Draft, Nick Young remembers one interesting encounter with Michael Jordan where the Hornets owner asked him numerous questions in an effort to see if he would be a good asset for the franchise. But there was one interesting question that Young remembers fondly.

"He asked me where I learned my fadeaway from,” Young recalled after working out for the former Charlotte Bobcats seven years ago. “Jordan was looking at me dead in my eyes. I was going to say Kobe Bryant, but I was forced to say Jordan at that moment because I wanted him to pick me.”

Keeping in mind when Young was entering the league, it's not all that surprising to hear how much of an influence that Kobe had on his game. In 2007, Bryant was already in the league for a decade while Jordan was nearly a decade removed from his Bulls years. If you can't relate with Swaggy P's experience growing up, you will probably be the first person to say that these young'ns really missed out when it came to watching MJ cook live. And you know what? You would be right. They definitely missed out.
