Truth be told, Marshawn Lynch's "Beast Mode" nickname doesn't really require a whole lot of explanation. If you've ever seen any of these "Beast Mode" runs, then you can probably guess what "Beast Mode" means.

But during a recent sit-down interview with his former Seahawks teammate Michael Robinson—who works for the NFL Network now—Lynch was asked about the meaning of his nickname. And his answer was awesome.

1.

"I feel like on that field, there's no reason I can't run through you," he said. "I know I'm gonna get got, but I'm going to get mine more than I get got."

Lynch also told Robinson exactly why he hates doing interviews.

"I ain't got nothing to say," he said. "I just want to play football."

Fair enough. But with great quotes like the one Lynch provided here, it's a shame that he doesn't like to talk more.
