Last night, Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan on the NBA's all-time scoring list. But he did it in Minnesota during a game against the Timberwolves, which meant that the Lakers didn't get the opportunity to go out after the game to celebrate. So rather than hit the club with Kobe to toast to his accomplishment, the Lakers brought the club to their team plane. Er, sort of.

In reality, the Lakers "celebration" of Kobe moving ahead of MJ looked like the budget-friendly holiday office party that you're going to attend sometime this week. It included tacky decorations:

1.

It included a cake:

2.

And yes, that was even Kobe's teammate Jordan Clarkson singing for the occasion!

It was…weird. And kind of depressing. But hey, at least his teammates tried, right?
