Kevin Garnett isn't running with the Celtics anymore. But that doesn't mean that the city of Boston doesn't still love him.
Earlier today, KG played what may end up being his final game in Beantown when the Nets traveled north to take on the Celtics during a day game. And prior to the start of the contest, KG got a loud ovation from Celtics fans at the game. He responded by giving them a brief salute and, after the Nets knocked off the Celtics, he had nothing but nice things to say about Boston as a whole.
"Winning is infinite," he said, "and I've always had that special relationship with this city."
