On Sunday, we may be in for a blast from the past when Eddie Lacy takes the field. According to ESPN, Lacy is currently dealing eye irritation issues after using his contacts past the normal 30-day limit. The Green Bay Packers running back went as far as to say that he's "very blind," pointing out his inability to see across the room. And, you know, we're no expert here but vision is kind of very important for running backs.

So, what's the solution? Well, Lacy knows one thing: he does not want to wear the goggles that Eric Dickerson made famous during his tenure in the NFL from 1983-93.

"I refuse," Lacy said before backtracking slightly, per ESPN.com. "I don't want to say I refuse because I might, because I think it will be better than wearing contacts, but that's kind of old school."

With Lacy only 60 yards away from reaching the 1,000-yard milestone, he may just need to bite the bullet and rock the goggles if his eye irritation persists. And hey, Dickerson isn't bad company to align yourself with, right?
