Adrian Peterson will not be playing in the NFL again this season.
Last month, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Peterson indefinitely after he reached a plea deal in his child abuse case in Texas. And while Peterson attempted to appeal that suspension, appeals officer Harold Henderson just refused to reduce or eliminate it. So as of right now, Peterson will not be eligible for reinstatement back into the NFL until at least April.
There is a chance that Peterson could push this further. He has talked about possibly taking his fight to the federal level. But at this point, it's unclear what his next move will be, so stay tuned.
