Today, No. 2 Wisconsin survived a scare from unranked Georgetown by overcoming a nine-point second half deficit to avoid the Thanksgiving upset. As the final seconds ticked off the clock, Georgetown's D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera attempted to hit his sixth three-pointer to send it into OT, but it rimmed out to put a 68-65 victory on ice for Wisky. Afterwards, Wisconsin's Sam Dekker let out a shout of relief before inadvertently punching the ball directly towards teammate Nigel Hayes.
The result was hilarious kind of funny, we guess.
