In his first three years at Stanford, Richard Sherman played wide receiver before switching over the cornerback position. The Seattle Seahawks are currently entertaining the idea of putting him back sometime this season. After sending Percy Harvin packing to the New York Jets, the 'Hawks passing game has struggled with Russell Wilson failing to eclipse the 200-yard mark in five of six games. Clearly, the Seahawks need a spark and head coach Pete Carroll is mulling the idea of putting Sherman out there... in "an emergency situation."

"He's been very clear in that intent for a long time around here," Carroll told KIRO Radio on Friday. "It's always been a conversation that we've had, and if I need him I'm going to him and he knows that."

"Sure," Carroll said. "He was a good receiver growing up and he has tremendous catching range and all that as we've witnessed in his defensive play, and he would love to do it. So he's ready. If we get in an emergency situation, he knows I'm coming to him."

As Deion Sanders showed us throughout his NFL career, being the jack of all trades is definitely possible. With that being said, playing multiple positions in a game isn't for everybody. But could you imagine the amount of trash talk from Sherman if he does succeed?
