Angry Redskins Fan Lists Robert Griffin III Jersey on Craigslist, Puts It Out on the Curb

He didn't even bother to burn it.

Burning the jersey of your favorite NFL player is a good way to let him know that you're not happy with the way he's playing. But it also requires quite a bit of work on your part. You have to prep the jersey by dumping lighter fluid on it, let the jersey burn, and then clean up whatever mess you've made after the jersey is nice and crispy.

So rather than burn his Robert Griffin III jersey this week after RGIII got benched in favor of Colt McCoy, one angry Redskins fan decided to show his disgust with the Washington quarterback in a much simpler way. Instead of burning his jersey, he listed it on Craigslist—and then put it out on the curb for whoever wanted to come and pick it up:

Was it the lazy way to go about getting rid of his jersey? Eh, yes. But it was just as effective as burning it and didn't require any sort of cleanup. So it's a win in our book. And as of right now, Redskins fans will take a win in whatever way they can get it.
