Yesterday, on the 10th anniversary of the "Malice at the Palace"—the epic brawl that took place between the Pacers and the Pistons in Detroit on November 19, 2004—Metta World Peace took to Twitter to call that day the worst day of his entire life:

But earlier today, he took to Twitter again and reminded everyone that, while he doesn't have fond memories of that day, he did get at least one thing out of it: A friend. And that friend just so happens to be the guy who threw beer at him that night and started the fight in the first place:

Technically, we already knew this. World Peace talked about it a couple years ago. But it's still crazy to think that he's friends with the guy who turned an ordinary day in November into the worst day of his life. #freakingnuts is right.
