If you truly want to know how little f***ks Kobe Bryant gives this season, look no further than this glorious video from the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Dallas Mavericks last night. It was only the second quarter, and the Lakers were only down nine, but that didn't stop the Black Mamba from taking what might qualify as the worst shot of this early 2014-2015 NBA season.
Sure, the shot clock was running down. But there were still six seconds, and Kobe Bryant is at least three miles from the hoop when he launches this ridiculous three pointer that got all net and no basket. I mean, just look at Nick Young's reaction. When Swaggy P looks pissed off about your shot selection, you've officially hit rock bottom.
The Lakers would go on to lose by 34, so none of this matters in hindsight. But if this is how Bryant's career is going to end, jacking up insane shots while Carlos Boozer screams for the and one he'll never get and Jeremy Lin tattoos Linsanity on his forehead, the nation will be in mourning.
