The Los Angeles Lakers are a team in disarray right now. They're 1-9. Kobe Bryant is taking 34 shots in a game. The losses have apparently affected Jeremy Lin's ability to speak coherently. And given the current struggles of the Lakers, this may be kicking a team while they're down, but we'll say it anyway.

Could you imagine how great it would've been to have Klay Thompson in a Lakers jersey? Well, it could've happened. In his last season before leaving Washington State for the NBA, Thompson improved in every offensive statistical category which made it even harder for the Golden State Warriors to pass up on him when they took Klay with the 11th overall pick in 2011.

In case you're wondering, the Lakers packaged that 2010 first-rounder, along with a number of other players, for Pau Gasol
