After scoring 41 points against the Lakers, Klay Thompson set his sights on the Portland Trail Blazers as he continued on his mission to prove that the Warriors were wise to lock him up to the massive four-year, $70 million extension he signed on Friday.
Not known for his dunking ability, Thompson absolutely posterized 7’0” Portland center Robin Lopez in what may prove to be the dunk of the year. The fourth quarter flush put the Warriors up by one with just over three minutes to go, and it would be Thompson again who would deliver in crunch time with this last-second floater to give the Warriors a big road win:
