You hear that, Perk? Yeah, we didn't either.

It isn't all that surprising to hear the fans start up those "MVP" chants early in the season, but this is something new. Following last night's 101-93 win over the Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins spoke with Royce Young of the Daily Thunder where he fired off the following gem:

Perk on getting a standing ovation in the first quarter: “It felt good. I thought I heard a couple MVP chants.” I told him I didn’t hear any of those. “Yeah, neither did I. Just in my head.” Perk is the best.

Perk definitely is the best. Hopefully, homie didn't get too confused when people were bestowing the "MVP" chant on Kevin Durant last season.
