On a night where Kobe established a new (and unfortunate) record for most career shots missed, Dirk Nowitzki drained a 19-footer in the fourth quarter against the Kings to pass Hakeem Olajuwon as the NBA's all-time leading scorer born outside the U.S. For his career Dirk now has 26,953 points, which also puts him at ninth on the all-time scoring list. It'll still be a few years before Dirk hangs up his sneakers (at which point his entire legacy can be analyzed) but it's a hell of an accomplishment from a guy out of basketball hotbed *looks it up* freakin' Wurzberg, Germany. Whether or not you think Dirk is better than Hakeem, that's a different debate for a different day.

Oh wait, no it isn't. We already settled our thoughts on the matter right here.
