It's just a fifty second video introducing college basketball's Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, but it sure is nice to hear Craig Sager's voice again. Missing from our television screens since his initial acute myeloid leukemia diagnosis in April, Sager appeared in this short spot for TruTV to intro the annual tournament and talk about how the efforts of the American Cancer Society have given people like him a light at the end of the tunnel.
Sager is thinner, has a lot less hair and wasn't wearing one of his typical outlandish suits, but none of that really matters. Getting Sager back in any capacity to talk hoops again after a battle with a deadly disease is pretty awesome.
