In today's edition of the Monday Morning Quarterback, SI's Peter King featured NFL quaterback-turned-football analyst Chris Simms in "five quick questions." Simms, who served as a scout for the 2012 New England Patriots, was asked about his "top five" quarterbacks in the NFL right now, which featured one noticeable exception.

"I hate how everybody just says Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are the best two quarterbacks in football. They’re not," Simms responded, "Are they gonna be 65 years old and we’ll all be saying, 'Brady and Manning are still the best?' Tom Brady’s not in my top five. I mean, he’s still really good, but I like other guys better. I’d go Aaron Rodgers one, Andrew Luck two, Ben Roethlisberger three, Russell Wilson four and Peyton five."

Simms is certainly picking an odd time to knock Brady off of the throne. He's thrown 22 touchdowns against only three interceptions in 2014, and has the fifth best QBR in football. He's right about the Brady-Manning ballyhoo being insufferable, but he's huffing keyboard cleaner if he truly believes that Russell Wilson is a better quarterback than Tom Brady.
