Since July, there have been a number of reports that have come out that have indicated that Carmelo Anthony was thisclose to signing with the Bulls instead of the Knicks in the NBA offseason. But in a new MSG Network documentary called Carmelo Anthony: Made in NY, Melo himself admits that he was almost a Bull.

"There was one point in time I was like, 'Oh, I'm going,'" he says in the documentary, before explaining that the Bulls were actually the frontrunner to obtain his services. "Chicago was the one from Day 1 [and] was something I was very impressed with. They were looking for someone like me to come in and take them to the next level. So it was perfect."

Carmelo goes on to say that he "had to think about just living in Chicago" and ultimately picked New York because he didn't want to pick up and move to a new city. But to hear him tell it, it wasn't an easy decision and almost resulted in him heading to the Windy City.

The 30-minute Carmelo documentary will air on MSG on Tuesday night. After seeing how the Knicks have started off their season, do you think Melo made the right call?
