English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur welcomed newly-promoted Greek side Asteras Triploi to White Hart Lane this evening, for what promised to be a tasty Europa League group stage encounter. The hosts took an early lead through Harry Kane’s 13th minute goal, and they doubled their advantage just 17 minutes later thanks to the individual brilliance of Erik Lamela.
