Especially in the NBA draft, foreign players can be somewhat of an unknown commodity. While plenty of footage and stats of their play overseas exists, how that translates to the American game is an entirely different matter. The size and skill of the NBA players is often different, and more importantly the style of offense and defense makes for an entirely different sport in many ways.
