It took 'em 6 hours and 20 minutes, but the Giants pulled out a 2-1 win against the Nationals to go up 2-0 in the series. San Francisco first baseman Brandon Belt jacked a homer in the 18th inning to give the Giants their second consecutive win in Washington, giving them a shot to close out the series the next game in The Bay. It was the longest MLB postseason game in history.

The victory was even tougher for the Nationals, as underrated starter Jordan Zimmerman pitched an 8.2-inning, 3-hit gem, but Drew Storen blew the save and kept the door open for the Giants. The Nats are going to have to pull of something special if they want to win their first World Series ever.
