In the past, the producers of Law & Order: SVU have used a number of legal cases involving high-profile celebrities as the inspiration for episodes. But tonight's SVU episode, which is called "American Disgrace," reportedly includes a fictional athlete Shakir "The Shark" Wilkins, a rape, a cover-up, and an altercation inside of an elevator that comes to light after security footage of the incident surfaces. So the episode is believed to be inspired by Ray Rice (the elevator footage), Solange (she infamously attacked Jay Z in an elevator in May), and Darren Sharper (he has been accused of raping several women over the last year).
