The Auburn police department is reportedly investigating a Twitter troll who made a series of threats against Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and Jordan-Hare Stadium. There's a thin line between being an asshole and being the target of a police investigation, and apparently that line is crossed when threatening to behead a football coach "ISIS style."

The tweets, which were sent from @bhayes4420 and since-deleted, included messages like, "I woke up bumbed [sic] today bc there are still some Auburn people alive hopefully I can get that C-4 in Jordan Hare to go off," as well as one that read, "the real goal is to be able to chop Gus's head off on a live YouTube feed ISIS style."

AL.com quotes Auburn police chief Paul Register as saying, "Even if it isn't a direct threat, it does become alarming to people, and that is when it becomes our business." For more on this story, check out the video above.
