This morning, Brazil took on Japan in an international friendly in Singapore in front of 51,577 spectators. And those folks got their money’s worth and more. Barcelona striker Neymar captained the Selecao, and he took leading by example to new heights with his sensational display. The former Santos youth product scored all four goals in Brazil’s shutout of Samurai Blue, and constantly terrorized the Japanese defense with his dribbling ability.

With his performance today, Neymar brought his tally to 40 goals in just 58 matches for Brazil, making him the national team’s fifth all-time leading scorer.
