Kevin Love Shines in Brazil Against the Miami Heat

Kevin Love balled out in Brazil against the Miami Heat

Many people assumed that Kevin Love would fit in pretty smoothly with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the thought being that head coach David Blatt's offense predicated on ball movement and cuts would be perfect for Love's skill set. That thought is becoming a reality.

The Cavs were in Brazil taking on the Miami Heat in a preseason game today, and Kevin Love was, on this day at least, the best player on the court for the Cavaliers. Love's shooting touch was on display early, as the former Minnesota Timberwolf drained open three pointers while also showing off some of his touch down in the post. He barely missed a shot from the field. Oh, and he also pulled down seven rebounds.

Dion Waiters looked great, and Anderson Varejao played inspired basketball in front of his home country (while LeBron James kind of looked like he'd rather be at the beach), but Love was the clear star as we get closer to the beginning of the NBA season. Two words: Watch out.
