It's time for the stars who rocked the NBA in the mid-aughts to start planning ahead. Some are moving into the post-NBA life through less than graceful means. Kenyon Martin may not be one of them.
He isn't officially retired yet, but he's a free agent at 36—he's probably not going to make a starting lineup. But Martin does know the game, so it makes sense that he's met the Rockets for a possible position on their coaching staff.

Good for him. If Martin does get a position, this would mean Dwight Howard would have the knowledge of Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin McHale, and Martin backing him. That's too much not to be great.
