Few things in life are more nerve-wracking than getting pulled over by the cops. Even when you did nothing wrong, being stopped by a cop causes all sorts of paranoia. It feels as though you're being lured into a trap.

Of course, this anxiety isn't completely unfounded. There are times, particularly for drivers who are persons of color, when the police are actually trying to trick you into making a false move. However, the fear of being implicated for a crime you didn't commit isn't limited to situations defined by race. Improbably, it even extends to frisbee golfers.

A recent cop stop in Ankeny, IA provides evidence for this strange niche of profiling. Recorded by a frisbee golfer, who was being pulled over by the police due to a problem with his lights, the video above shows a policeman trying to lure the driver into incriminating himself on the basis that "everybody that plays frisbee golf smokes weed." The cop makes the suggestion as a joke, but quickly turns serious, attempting to use the stereotype as a means to gain access to the driver's vehicle and to search him.

Thankfully, the driver was smart enough to work his way around the officer's tricky wordplay. If you need some lessons on how to avoid implicating or incriminating yourself, then watch the video above.
