Earlier this month, a 90-year-old woman named Illuminada Magtoto, who loves the Heat, challenged Dwyane Wade to a game of 1-on-1. She had her grandson reach out to D-Wade on Twitter in order to try to set it up:
And believe it or not, the Heat star actually accepted her challenge and agreed to play the game of 1-on-1 on her birthday.
So on Tuesday, Magtoto took a trip to the Heat's practice facility to play Wade while the cameras rolled. The result is the video that you see at the top of this post, which features her shooting with Wade and even throwing a lob to him, which results in Wade taking a shot at one of his teammates.
"You throw better lobs than Mario Chalmers!" he jokes.
This was a nice thing for Wade to do. He also gave Magtoto tickets to the Heat's preseason game against the Rockets last night. What a way to celebrate your 90th birthday.
