I don't know what's happening in the SMU @ Texas A&M game (it's a 45+ point blowout in A&M's favor or something), but I do know that there's a minor American hero standing on that field right now. While running for an over-the-shoulder fade, an SMU wide receiver got pushed out of bounds, stumbled, and was headed for a direct impact with Miss Rev, the Aggie's mascot collie.

Instead of Miss Rev getting destroyed, her brave handler stepped up and blocked the incoming receiver. He used fantastic technique too. Notice the quick feet and box-out—he used his body as a shield for Miss Rev, who to her credit, didn't flinch. She kept it cool, obvi.

One could also make the argument that Miss Rev is lazy and should've sensed the danger and bolted, but that's not a cool story. Nine-year-old Reville VIII will retire as the Aggie's mascot at this season's end. Thankfully, she'll be able to see this season out safely.
